DESCRIPTION - 説明†

  • testmxlookup lists the names and IP addresses of mail relays that receive mail for the domain. This is useful in diagnosing mail delivery problems.
    • testmxlookup は，ドメインのメールを受け取るメールリレーの名前と IP アドレスのリストを表示します．これは，メール配送問題を診断する事に役に立ちます．
  • testmxlookup sends a DNS MX query for the specified domain, followed by A/AAAA queries, if needed. testmxlookup lists the hostname and the IP address of every mail relay, and its MX priority.
    • testmxlookup は指定されたドメインの DNS MX クエリを送信し，必要ならば A/AAAA クエリが続けて送信されます．testmxlookup は全てのメールリレーとその MX 優先度をホスト名と IP アドレスのリストにします．

DIAGNOSTICS - 診断†

  • The error message "Hard error" indicates that the domain does not exist, or does not have any mail relays. The error message "Soft error" indicates a temporary error condition (usually a network failure of some sorts, or the local DNS server is down).
    • エラーメッセージ "Hard error" は，ドメインが存在しないか，メールリレーが存在しない事を表します．エラーメッセージ "Soft error" は，一時的なエラー状態 (通常，幾つかの種類のネットワーク障害，又はローカルな DNS サーバのダウン) を表します．
